How Blogging Can Make You Famous

According to Forbes.com, “The face of fame is changing”. You no longer have to necessarily be a singer, rapper, actor, entertainer or even politician to be famous. As I’m sure you have seen, you can now be famous from as much as a silly video on YouTube to starting a really great charitable cause.

One of the most popular, easiest ways to become famous online is to blog! Believe it or not, there are a few people who have become famous from blogging. And as a “potential blogger” or “rockstar blogger in the making”, it is important to know a few of these famous bloggers.

Why? Because as the famous saying goes, “don’t reinvent the wheel”.

No reason to think TOO outside of the box when it comes to blogging as a lot of it has been done already. And if these people can do it, believe me, so can you. Here are few famous bloggers online you may not be familiar with.

1. Maddox – An interesting blogger who writes all about himself. Even sells merchandise, about himself. Literally, his blog is called, “The Best Page in the Universe”….Again, if they can do it, so can you!
2. Seth Godin – Creator of Squidoo.com and a “Marketing Guru”, Seth is a bestselling author of books with creative names such as, “Purple Cow”, “The Big Moo” and “We Are All Weird”.

3. Amanda Congdon – She started a VIDEO blog ( another option for you). People liked her humor and good looks and she quickly got appearances on ABC News and HBO.

4. Michael Arrington – Editor of a technical blog called, Tech Crunch. This blog reviews all things technical and electronic, the place to go, to find out the best of the best.

5. Xeni Jardin – She is co-editor of a blog called Boing, Boing. She has become so popular that she has made several TV appearances, written for popular publications and even curated the first ever cell phone art show.


These are just a few famous bloggers, but as I have stated several times, if they can do it, SO CAN YOU! Do your research and find a blogging platform that will be lucrative for you.
