Don't You Just Hate It When....

.....you KNOW you're right about something, but you step down to let the other person go through the motions, because you don't want to hurt their ego? At the end of it all, your were right from the beginning, now they are mad at you because you figured out without their help, LOL!

This always happens between my mother and I, all the time! :-)

Here's the story:

I was ordering something online..of course, that's just the way I do most things (duh) and she came over (help watch her grandsugar's) and stated that if I called the place, I could negotiate a better deal ~mother knows best, right?

Now I KNEW I already had the best deal because I am an internet marketer, lol.  I had already checked around and did my research online and offline, to see what was available elsewhere as well as with this same company.

SO instead of me saying "no you can't get a better deal!  This is the best you can get! "
I said, "You can? Well, can you call for me, because I don't like talking on the phone to people, that I don't know." *YEAH RIGHT!

Of course she called, spoke to the rep and BAMM, the rep gave the same price that was on my screen, on the payment page. (wink)

Yet, I just chuckled inside and said "okay, well since the prices are the same, let me just finish my order"

What the heck did I say THAT for???

Since she had the rep on the phone, she wanted me to process the order on the phone, but I had already done all those questions and answers online and at this point all I had to do was hit order!

When I stated I would rather just complete the order online, SHE got upset with ME!!!

(This use to confuse me, but I understand now, mommy's always right...)

And get this, she then told me I was acting like I had a problem today!! Wow, right?

So, I did not respond in anyway.  I just continued to place my order and get on with my day.

MORAL OF THE STORY
===================

Most people think they have "better ideas".  And sometimes they do, no doubt about that.

But sometimes they don't!

And when you allow them to prove themselves wrong instead of arguing about it...

Many times they displace that ego and their inability to be wrong onto YOU...

 

Once you recognize what's going on..

YOU must take the road less traveled. (I know, this is extremely hard to do)

YOU must remember that what you give your attention to expands... (the laws are the laws)

YOU must retain your right and use of free will to pivot, turn the other cheek and decide that some battles

aren't worth the negative energy. (in other words, exercise your right to take the 5th, lol!)

After awhile, you will build up the muscle to not have to always prove your point, or that you are right, or for that matter anything at all!

 

You will discover how to allow others to vibrate the way they choose....

While remembering the only thing you can control is how YOU vibrate!

FINAL THOUGHT

Choose to be the MASTER of your emotions!

Having emotions is awesome, it's what makes us human!
But controlling them, ahhhh, yes...that's what allows us to create that which we desire even more!
